finally... after so so long i managed to log back on again.

it's another yr added to my age. a ripe old 26. sucks! so old sia. the last time i was talking to gan about how unreal i feel my age was... that physically, mentally and emotionally that i feel myself dun realli add up. i bet some souls out there feels the same too.

2009 has been a year of procrastination. u find that as u get older, the more procrastination u do. or is it just me. it's the push of the little bit of vigour u have in u that inspires new ideas.. but then it's also the age that makes u feel tired... and lazy.. ok. i think that's an excuse. it's just laziness.

quite a number of things happened in 2009. 2 of my frenz got married. many more frenz got married or are planning to. and thru facebook, i found out that.. guess wat.. even more frenz got married and some even had 2 kids running around in kindergarden schools. but amid all these "happenings", i always find myself wanting to ask the couple... how do u know that he/she is the one? i remember i asked liting this question.. and guess wat she said... u just know. wtf. if only everything in this world is as easy!

i'm in depression mode again. i find myself getting into depression mode everytime i feel that something doesnt go my way... and i'm always the one who wreak things up... like everytime i go out for dinner with others (who are not vegetarian).. i feel that they would always have to make special arrangement for me.. or couldnt go to a certain place because i do not have anything to eat there. or didnt ask me along because i wouldnt have anything to eat there anyway.. i know it sounds silly to talk about this... but i know i have to voice it out somewhere... if not i'll go crazy. i hate to be left out. but then again, i do not want to not be a vegetarian. i am not saying its bad. it's just that.. it hard. but i am not giving up. but time and again, when such things are being brought up... i realli feel that i am a hindrance to people... that if there wasnt a me, things would have gotten a whole lot smoother for the others. if i wasnt there, if i didnt exist in their lifes... maybe they would have a whole new better life for them.

i sometimes realli envy people who have a person whom they can realli talk and cry to. some of this people may be their fren or it would be best if he/she is their lover. or even a mentor, someone who can guide me in life. xtend his/her hand to me when i'm feeling lost and hopeless.

it's not realli nice to begin a year with a sad beginning... but i just couldnt help feeling sad. this question always come to my mind whenever i get depressed. should i have visited a doctor instead? but i know my problems. i just need that someone to give me a hand. but do not give me the hand, only to let go of it when i am just reaching the top and because u cant see me.

afternote: i must realli have low eq... cause now i feel happy again.

u r in a black box. so many colours and light can shine through you. but at the end of the day. ur box is still black. it's as if it translucent.. u attempt to light up candles... but after the light has gone.. u have just created a puddle of mess for yourself. sometimes u will think.. why am i inviting trouble... but then because ur world is so dark, ur crave for that little bit of light will prompt u to light up more and more candles and before u know it... ur little black box gets chocked up with all the mess u've created all this while.

now u panic. u want to get rid of all the waxy mess. but u cant... no matter how u scrap... the rubbish still lingers.

then u get more depressed. light can no longer shine through ur box. it has become opaque.. and slowly... the ppl around you leave... just because they find it useless to shine their light in u anymore.

oh great... i think i've lost the ability to drive... on 2 occassions.... i drove ming hui's car... something bad went wrong.... 0_o shucks... have i realli lost the ability to drive or isit juz a mental block....

i've lost the ability to swim freestyle too... months back i've discovered this... isnt swimming supposed to be like cycling.. u know... one u learn it... u will forever remember how to do it.... but but but.... how come i cant remember how to swim freestyle..

and now lagi best... i've forgotten how to drive too... shucks shuckc shucks..... could there have been a glitch in the part of my brain that stores all my previously learnt skills.... that may be the reason why.......

HOW TO MAKE FAIRY GRASS AKA 仙草 COOLING DESSERT DRINK

Ingredients
1) fairy grass aka 仙草
2) H2O
3) sugar
4) pandan leaves
5) lots of love baby~~~~~

Method
1) first prepare the fairy grass....

grate it....

2) boil a pot of water....add sugar and pandan leaves.... remove the leaves when the pandan taste has 'come out'...

3) add in the fairy grass and stirrrrrrrr..... remember to cover the pot if u r leaving it for later..

4) tata!!!!!!!! all done and ready to go!!!!

to buy or not to buy

should i or should i not buy a car. that is the question.

pros:
1) greater assessability than using public transport

2) more privacy. no more sweaty fellow commuters.

3) can bring my parents out to places where its very hard to go by public transport... example farms...parks....

4) no nd to bother about bringing too much stuff when going out. u can juz dump them in the car if u dun nd them.

5) the 'feel-like-i-am-very-rich' feeling. well, this also very much depends on the type of car u r getting. u cant realli feel like a million bucks with a kelisa~~~

6) the ability to go anywhere, whenever and wherever u want. kinda bundles with greater assessibility...

cons:
1) harmful to the environment. unless i buy a hybrid car... which if is the case... then i wouldnt be able to get one now

2)very expensive. the car. coe. insurance. petrol. blah blah blah

3) the 'obligation' to send ppl home on ur car who live 'along the way'. not that i am truly complaining about this. is juz one of the things that u should do when u have a car.

4) cannot sleep while on the go. of course!!! i can sleep like a log while on a bus.

5) the obligation to ZHNG ur car. well. i know i will definitly ZHNG my car when i have one. rims. side-skirts. visor. spoiler. decals. cute gear covers. all these are equivalent to BIG MONEY........... ~_~

6) look at the number of cars on the road now... realli make no sense to add another one... the traffic can onli get suckier and suckier...

oh my god.... the pros and cons are on par~~~ SEE!!! is difficult lor.... but... i guess the main thing boils down to money.... with my meagre monthly pay... if i were to realli get one... it should be a picanto... haha... picanto kinda sucks... anyway.... the list of cars that i wan....

PS: i am not including mazda 3 and suzuki swift in the list cause my bf buys a mazda 3 when i crave for one, then my bf went to buy swift when i am aiming for it also. drats.

A) Peugeot 1007

comes complete with sunroof, the van-like sliding door... in case u think eww.. liddat machiam like van liddat... the doors are automated...and sliding doors allow maximum movability... ur neighbouring parking car may juz like u a bit more cause u are less likely to scratch his door...

it has a '2-tronic' automated manual gearbox.. i dun realli truly understand the phrase but juz know that u can choose between automated drive and manual drive... guess should be quite norm for cars nowadays....

and its on my list because..............

1) it looks different. u can easily recognise ur car in the carpark. SHOUTS: individuality~~~~~

2) its a Peugeot.... SHOUTS: continential car!!!! gosh how superficial and shallow and stereo-typical can i get.....

3) its a car made for women... as Peugeot markets it..."Driving has now entered a new era for women." how true......

B) Peugeot 207CC

YES!!!! is a Peugeot again.... cant get enough of the big tiglion (tiger-lion) hybrid crest on the car~~~~~

sporty coupé or sleek cabriolet.... all within 25 seconds with its automated roof. it seats 4. which is very frenly... haha.... and it has a airconditioned glove box! which means u can keep ur drinks chilled while having fun in the beach... well that is if u leave ur engine running....

though it looks a bit weird while trying to look sporty with its 17" rims and big grille...... the big wide and long headlights and very round body dun realli match the whole package...

BUT!!!! it still looks cool cause its a coupé-cabriolet~~~~~ hur hur hur....

and and and!!! its a Peugeot....

it also has a 4-speed "tiptronic system porsche" automatic with manual override... well watever that means.... it sounds urber cool can~~~~ kinda says u can drive in comfort but can still change to manual when u wan that extra ommph and feel to the drive i guess....but i guess i'll be using the auto mode for as long as i'm driving... hurhurhur....lazy can~~~~

C) Kia Picanto

can u find any more car more hideous than this... oh ya... chery and kelisa~~~~

yes... u are not dreaming... i am including the much dreaded picanto in my list... even though i realli find it disgustingly cute....

gosh i cant find myself to say other things rather than.. it's cheap and good to get me from point A to B.

i didnt even realli bother to find more pics....

D) Toyota Vios

i cant imagine i am also including this car into my list...

yes.. they revamped the car.... but the stupid meters are still in the middle of the dashboard....

but it saves fuel...

and ya.... it saves fuel.....

saves fuel = saves money.....

oh and one more thing.... the sound insulation in toyota is surprisingly good... better than mazda and suzuki... but not sure how it compares with Peugeot though.... never ridden in one b4....

this is the list as of now.... i've got other great cars that i want... like mazda rx-8.... mazda mx5.....mini cooper....Lamborghini....Porsche....Volkswagen Golf GTI....Mercedes-Benz SLK.....Mitsubishi Evo X....BMW.....Lexus MPV.....Bugatti Veyron.....the list can only more and more unaffordable.... merry belated x'mas la.... haha... and a happi new yr!!! the yr of the rat is also coming...... wha kaoz... 2 rounds liaoz.... 24..... but but but!!!! i every yr 18 at heart!!! hohoho...

scared the hell outta myself by watching I am Legend with ming hui... and the ending SUCKS btw... so even though u wanna get urself a good scare... dun watch.. cause ending not worth it... and i know the ending okayyyyy~~~~ i didnt close mi eyes throughout the movie... thought got like 70% closed la.... wat~~~ got zombies run here run there.... bite everywhere.... scary mahz~~~ but still considered quite a feat la... my first scary movie watched at a cinema.... with 30% of the time mi eyes are wide open....

b4 that... it was quite early *so we thought* and we went to labrador hoping to watch some fireworks in action... sooo many cars there de lor... but hor... not much visual action going on....this was exactly wat we watched b4 saying happi new yr to each other and rushing off to watch the movie at 1.40am

not very entirely nice... cause it was so damn small.. and short... but it was still lomantic la ah....cause got cold wind blow???? ~_~

first day @ work

my second job ever since i graduated from uni... finally i'm working in my field of interest. ha.. at least i'm feeling much much better trying to read thick technical reports and environmental impact assessments and environmental monitoring and management programs... and trying extremely hard to understand and decipher what is exactly going on.......... haha.... but i still feel much much better. guess i'm still an engineering person at heart... HR was a real mistake... haha....

hope this job can bring mi much joy and happiness!! and extend mi horizons... cause cause cause...... almost 50% of the ppl in the company are ang mos.... diaoz diaoz... super weird... cause i've never worked with ang mos b4 and now there are like sooo many! mi working under an ang mo lady... very pretty... haha.... and she kinda treats mi quite well leh... haha...

to the person she knows who she is.... there got young ang mo guys leh.... hehe... i'll help u keep a lookout ya! ho ho ho!!! ^___^

introducing the new iPod touch... haha... as the name goes... iPod touch = no buttons... totally touchy onli.. haha... *i'm doing free promo leh.... dotz*

went to imm today with qiqi.. and was searching for mp3 players as i've been wanting to get one... went to this store as i tot of prob buying the iPod Nano... or Shuffle...

dunno whether any of u noticed.... iPod nano has evolved liao.... haha... now the screen can even play videos!!!

exactly like the iPod classic... but juz very much smaller in size... kwelllll....

kk.. the attention shall be on the iPod touch.. haha... didnt realli give it much consideration but then i was surfing through the apple site... and whoa... iPod touch is realli cool leh....

besides the usual music and video playbacks.. it can also go wifi! meaning to say i can tap onto internet at any wifi enabled place... haha... and the plus factor is......

nuth realli exciting have been going in my life recently... underwent a tremendous amount of mood swings earlier... partly due to previous work committments and other things that peppered along the way. and so accounting for the realli 'off' entries previously... some ppl understand wat i'm saying and others may not. well.. thanks for all the advice and listening ears and comforting words.. ha...

things have been getting better. i dunno why. guess i can juz swing back up as fast as i slide down. =p now i wonder if that's a good or bad thing. ~_~

been indulging in my almost one month of break from work. yes in case some of u dunno.. i'm in my holidays now. officially left SAF and i will be reporting to work to my new company on 23rd Nov 2007. though i'm still feeling a bit lost here and there.. but at least i know i'm kinda anticipating it. so i guess it should be alright. if not better. =)

doing excercises while i can. u know... trying to slim down.. cause slimming down is 'almost' a universal women's hobby. yeah~~^_^ of course... size is juz a number.. is always best to feel good in ur own skin.. i'll try to come in terms with mi flabby arms and thunderous thighs... haha...

catching up on tv lately too. those 10-11pm slots of 'reality tv' shows from america, like ANTM (America's Next Top Model) and The Search for The Next Pussycat Doll. i always like this kinda shows. bitchy. nice looking girls. boobs, butts and bodies. bitchy. and oh did i mention bitchy? ha... cat fights are always interesting. esp on tv. very theatrical and dramatic. haha...

late nights too. i like~~~~~ haven been 'owling' since study days. and now i am back to mi 'natural' sleeping cycle. haha.... sleeping time = 3-4am. waking time = 11am-1pm.

mapling. a muz too. some kakis of mine sworn off gaming and mapling.. *snort* saying they got other things better to do than maple... hahahahha.... kiddin... but i still like to maple... though almost ALL the ppl inside are <20 yr olds... but is oki la... ha... at least lvling is a motivation factor for me. ^^

i still feel that i'm in the satge of mi life where i'm searching for my own identity. like wat i realli wan in life. wat is my goal. wat do i live for. dunno if any one of u feels exactly the same way as i do. so anywae.. meanwhile i'm still in the searching phase.. ha... like minded ppl do let mi know... haha.. then maybe we can all sit down and have a good talk about it.. hahahah....another reason for a gathering? haha ^^

next time then.. hopefully i will have something more interesting to blog about than reporting on my mundane life and how pathetic i feel life is for me... hurhurhur...

how u wish that things were the way they were used to be? those days where u were the most carefree person in the whole wide world. the time where u think it wouldnt end... my time was when i was in secondary sch. pri sch was mostly a blur to me. jc sucks. uni.. dun even bother to mention it...

i was a total nerd in sec sch. and i am very proud to admit it. eh... afterall u need to be of some calibre to be condsidered a nerd right... anywae, the only 'troubles' that i have was sch work sch work and more sch work. in fact, i didnt think there were enough of sch work.. i even stayed back after sch to continue doing my ten-year-series... yes.. those bibles...back then we all swore by them.. even teachers.. if u can complete the entire bible w/o major problems... u can alreasy see urself getting an A for the O leves...

frenz are a truthful lot. now then i realise... fren made during mi sec sch days and perhaps pri sch days... are realli called frenz... who will stay with u... ur ups and downs.. u can realli count on them... i am realli lucky to have made a lot of like-minded frenz during mi sec sch... ten years on and counting... i am sure we will all be frenz forever...

those days of choir... unforgettable. staying back after sch is more fun then a chore... esp for choir practice.. though we felt then was a chore.. of did we? haha.. anywae, i am pretty sure we've had more fun at choir than troubles/problems... competition.. SYF... there was even a time i remember i wasnt selected for a competition or SYF... we were all standing in formation and singing in a lecture hall.. and JAMES LEE was walking around listening to each individual singing... so nervous sia.. and when he came to me, he actually pulled mi out!!!??? diaoz... maybe i am/was realli that bad.. but anywae... because of mi frenz again... i managed to got back in the group.. hahaha....then came the time when we went to this compeition at PS. and among the top choirs.. we actually got third..!!! so touching!!!! i guess most of us teared.. haha...

things are a lot more complicated now... the older u get, the weirder ppl get... cause the older u get, the more ppl u see... the more u will feel... eh.. how come this kinda ppl exist.. for all mi 1X life... i've never seen this kinda person b4....

then u have to work. not that i'm saying its a chore or wat.. but... working itself for the sake of working... is realli no life... i've personal experience with S**.... dun work for the sake of working.. realli...but life is always full of uncertainty.. now that i've found a job as an environmental engineer... i'm starting to think again... am i realli going for an engineering job.. will i realli be very happi with all the technical work invovled?....

then u start to go into relationship... i personally dun have this experience when i was no older than 2X...so i get to experience the BGR problems now... haha.. call mi a late starter.. i remember hearing someone say b4 that being in a relationship, u can get to know urself more and wat u wan more. this is because in the process of trying to know the other party, u will also find urself having a clearer view of wat u see in the relationship. i dunno if u know wat i'm saying... if not.. juz treat it that i'm blabbering.. ha...there are many many other things that can be said about relationships... but i think i will not elaborate furher.... this entry is getting quite long liao.. ha...

then u also start to handle the finances in the family... i'm already staring to take over the bills... there is this stupid jacky chueng's song singing:" no bills to pay~~~~~" now i'm realli appreciating wat he is trying to sing....

and then u have more and more responsibilites... in all areas that u can think of... on a more selfish tone... i realli wish to just run away from all these responsibilities... but.. not possible. *_*

1 month and 2 days

1 month and 2 days since i've blogged. changes have been going on in my life and emotions are running high and low many times. being a very low eq person, i tend to let emotions rule over my head sometimes. when i'm high, i'm VERY high. when i'm low, i'm as low as u can possibly get. i can get so low over the smallest things possible that sometimes, it's almost easier to inflict physical pain on myself rather than feel the sourness and painful feeling crept in my heart.

i've been waking up for many mornings and feel extremely sorry for myself. it's the self-despising nature that i've had for myself. i dunno whether do u have this kinda feeling but i don't really like myself for the person that i am. can u hate urself? cause i know i do sometimes. the things and actions i've done it seems so not me when i look back at it. i think i must have lost myself since secondary school. cause ever since, i feel another person (or maybe even 3 or 4) have taken over my body and mind at times and react to things in a way that i myself would dislike. i know i sound like a nutcase now. but at least i hope that at least there can be one person who can tell mi that they actually feel wat i've described sometimes. then i would know that i'm actually not alone.

my working life was a mess. but not exactly now as i must have been realli lucky to have been employed as an environmental engineer (finally) in a renowned environmental engineering company. but it still doesnt feel good now as i face having to pay back one month worth of salary if i were to terminate early, that is, not serving the one month notice. i would prefer not to let out more details on this but to say that, i'm feeling that i'm hanging by this very thin thread and the decision of whether this thread will break or not will depend on the decision made by the HR dept when i go back tomorrow. may i have good news waiting for me.

i'm a mess. my room is in a state of post WW2 with incense papers (do u call them that?) all over my room. why? my mum made my room into a mini storage for them while she folds them into nice lotuses and coins for my late grandma. not that i'm complaining. i wanted to regroup and refile all of my notes and letters and watever others but i'm always procrasinating. like wat i'm doing now. see. another reason for me to hate myself. my table top is sticky (like ALWAYS) and it's always because my arms get sticky when i sweat (i think) and its like, the most disgusting thing ever. there is also this extremely foul smell in my room. i hope there is no rotting things in here. or maybe perhaps the smell of prolonged exposure of stale sweat in the air. but watever it is, the conclusion is that i feel that my room stinks. and i'm always in my room meddling with my computer, that makes mi stink like hell too. no wonder i need so many perfumes to mask the smell.

my family life isnt going so well either. i'm always getting angry and annoyed with my parents, sometimes to the extend of talking very loudly to them. i know i've failed as a daughter. such a failure sometimes that i feel they shouldnt have given birth to me in the first place. why would they wan to bring someone in this world that would bring them so much pain in the heart? i realli do not understand.

my relationship is a mess too. mh always says that i get easily annoyed when he said something that is not to my liking. maybe i am realli guilty of that. but anyhow, i feel that i'm an extreme failure in relationship too. maybe because of the support i've given him and the things that i request from him and this relationship makes him very tired. i do not know. i only know that i've failed as a gerfren too.

so to conclude. i've failed as an employee, a daughter and a gerfren. so u tell me, why am i still living here?

i'm such a total nutcase.

i went to batam with my colleagues (company trip) for a one day tour.. the tour guide AND the guided tour SUCKS.... but well... i got to know those folks at work better.. that made up for the trip...

on the trip to and fro, i wasnt inside the cabin but rather outside capturing pics and also the wind...~~~

Finally... mi turn to graduate liaoz.... very slow updates... but nevertheless.. still got update better than none.. haha

today is 16/6/2007... i went for mi grad trip on the 13/05/2007... haha.. almost one month delay.. paiseh... cause got loads of photos... (800+) so very lazy to organise and write and upload them... but now.. here it is...

day one (13/05/2007)

we set off from singapore on an early bright morning... (0800+ is our flight) on board cathay pacific to hong kong first for transit...

and we reach HK.... for transit....the plane that we took to taiwan was SOOOOO big... and SOOOOOO empty... haha... cause the plane is leaving for japan later.. haha.. should have sit on right.. then can go japan... muhahahahaha....

and finally we reach taiwan!!! a bit the chaotic but we still managed to reach our hotel in comfort!!! haha...

after we reached our hotel.. we immediately went out for walking already.. haha... our first food... the tea leaf egg from the local 7-11... all 7-11 stores in taiwan sell tea leaf egg in the style of those at pasar malam... ha.. how i wish singapore also got this...

we went to xi men ding and meet S.H.E. conducting their autograph session!!!! WOOTS... i tried TRIED to get a close up pic of them but nevertheless... but in person all 3 look very pretty!!!!

we went to our first ye shi.. the hua xi ye shi.. also called the snake alley...where the snake lady tried to demonstrate the snake eating a rabbit/rat (i dunno which) alive.. i dragged mh away... cannot bear to see

we also had our first chou dou fu of our trip... and from then on started our never ending search for chou dou fu for the rest of our trip.. it was juz too heavenly.. haha

day 2 (14/05/2007)

we started our day with a delicious bowl of porridge with loads of very very nice veges at the back alley of xi men ding area... esp the bamboo shoots... damn nice.... mmmmmmm......and off we went to Taipei 101...and the very very very fast lift that brings u from zero to 90+ floors in less than half a min... cool sia......

the Taipei 101 offers u view around the entire city... supposed to be very magnificient... but damn... too foggy that day.. sianz....

after which we went to wu fen pu to shop.. then to raohe ye shi... to eat!!! not forgettin the ever so nice fried smelly beancurd...with chilli and sauce and sour cabbages...

day 3 (15/05/2007)

we went to yang ming shan... and then later to a very nice restaurant, very nicely decorated... dunno wat style to call it.. european? and they got very cute doggies that run round the restaurant to flirt ... i mean.. play with the diners.. haha.. me included...SO CUTE!!!!!! if it were in singapore i guess the diners would have complained like hell.... haha

oh yeah.. we met ppl shooting flim at xi men ding when we came out of our hotel to have breakfast.. haha... can u recognise them??

we took the yang ming shan bus and went to our first stop.. the xiao you keng...

after which we went to the na na hu haha... dun doubt.. the lake is realli white in colour... not reflection...

the ppl taking the mrt there is amazingly orderly... even during peak hours... no pushing.. no squeezing... juz join the queue... and u muz wait till the ppl from the train empties b4 going in... cool right... so sophisticated.. unlike singaporeans.. so ugly... but i think its also because of the uncle at the center of the platform of each cabin... haha.. he is co-ordinating the order of the ppl... and he got a whistle... if u go out of line.. be prepared to get pEEPED at.. haha.... and they take escalator also super orderly one lor.. auto shift right... (ours if left.. but no one realli bothers anyway) cool....

this is the restaurant that mh brought mi to.. the one i told u earlier about the dogs and everything... to celebrate our 1st year anniversary together.. haha.. been so long liao.. haha....it was a very very nice place with a lot of feel one.. haha... lomantic sia......

and how can we end the day w/o chou dou fu....... haha...

day 4 (16/05/2007)

i brought mh to this vege ma la steamboat restaurant... haha...afterwhich we went to the CKS memorial hall (now defunct? weird ah bian....)

then we went to the exhibition hall... where we did tried to make fun of some things we came across.. acting silly and all...

then is the ever so popular shilin ye shi!!! and the very nice chou dou fu and deep fried straw mushrooms....

day 5 (17/05/2007)

our last day at taiwan...we had our fav porridge and went to bei tou...

we chance upon their library.. can u believe it.. so damn nice...i tot it was a chalet or smth...

next up is the museum of hot springs....

and we went to the de re gu... mh says ppl used to cook eggs there... but then got one person fell in and got boiled... so now not allowed.. ha... but it is realli realli warm there... even the entire lake is steaming....

later on.. we went to yu ren ma tou via boat... and visited the lovers' bridge...the shops there are realli nice to shop too.. very cheap bags... (<5 bucks each) and even got one place to flim ur very own mtv... hehehaha...uncle-auntie style...

we went to a cafe for a rest over the bridge.. and saw this very 'entertaining' dog.. haha

our last day.. how can not end with food. right... chou dou fu from xi men ding and fen yuan bing... mmmm....

yesterday... finally completed my first draft of fyp and handed it in to my prof... together with the hard copy also... been quite mentally shacked these few days... fyp-ing and all.... something happened that i never thought it would...but deep down i knew she didnt mean it to happen at all... or maybe i thought, this entire situation was the cause of mi over-reacting... ppl who know me... u know.. over reacting... low eq and all... cause sometimes i dun react when i nd to and i over react when things are quite small actually... anywae....

my fyp project is a dual project... meaning 2 person working on one single project... may have the same beginning... observations and all but then will have different approaches to the project... ours was on shoreline erosion of east coast park... i was given the task of reviewing why the coastline is eroding.. and she is appointed the task of reviewing the different methods of soft approach of protecting the beach....

we went down to the beach on many seperate occassions... did our observations and all... and so naturally, our current observations of the beach should be the same... then we went on to type our report....

i did mine and i sent over to her for reviewing of my conclusion... and she commented that she liked my way of presenting my observations.. and i was thinking.. oh yah.. cool... gald that she liked it...

then we seperately handed in our report online... i didnt look at her report at all...i went out later...

then when i returned... i opened her report for viewing... and onli then did i realised that the entire section of observation of the beach was 90% like mine...i mean yeah... the observations should be the same but not the wy of presenting... her original way of presenting was totally different from mine... and now... w/o informing or asking whether she could copy about 90% of how i present my observations in my report.. she copied them....

naturally... i felt extremely disappointed... cause i didnt think she was this kinda person at all... i was angry at the same time too... weiqi was online and she became my 'dustbin'... haha... i was literally 'throwing up' my emotions while msn-ing qi....

then i decided that i should call my fren instead to confront her... while i was talking to her on the phone... i couldnt control myself and i broke down...

STUPID!!!

i dunno why i broke down or for whom i broke down for.... thinking back.. i juz felt totally stupid that i broke down... and i realli cried like there was no tomorrow...

i guessed she was also STUNNED by my reaction cause she didnt think it was such a big matter.. as observations should or can be the same... that's why now i am thinking... was i realli over reacting....

then the day after.. we went to find the prof.. for if he hasnt read our report... she would change her observations part.. but we didnt find him cause he wasnt in sch.. but the ending is.. she and i talked and discussed and she changed her part while i added some more things in my report to make it nicer.. together we sent in the soft copy and submitted the hard copy yesterday...

all in all, she didnt meant wat she did and i am feeling that i was over reacting.. ha.. but.. still .. its a bad feeling to have sections of ur report almost totally lifted....

but if she is reading this.... but i dun think she has my blog... i wanna make it clear that i am happi that u initiated to change ur report... and we still ended up being frenz.. happily ever after... i hope... LOL....

and now why am i spending soooo much time typing this very very very longgggg story........

my very first v'day of my life...i spent it with lee beng hwee.. muhahaha... but dunno why everytime got major event he will be sick one... this time.. he was down with flu and cough.. so a bit the sianz... last time was the fever during fireworks festival... because he was sick... could see that he wasnt able to enjoy the night to the best right??

all in all.. it was a fun evening... but i realli feel that v'day is extremely commercialised... last time i never felt this way.. but this time u can realli feel it.. and every couple is like programmed to do the same thing every valentines day.. even the way the restaurant decorates its interior during v'day... SOOO TYPICAL lor... machiam prepare for robots to come and eat in twos...

but then of course... it's always wonderful to spend the evening with someone u like. ^___^

eye trauma

i went to a PARTICULAR free eye test at my sch recently.. FOC wat... why waste right... ha.. typical "auntie"...

they test for eye and specs degree compatibility (so that they can tell u that they dun match and that its better if u change ur specs... so that they can earn more money... lolz) and eye pressure...

all the readings for my frenz turned out fine except for................... yes.. me.

i was "diagnosed" having borderline elevated eye pressure.... at first i was... hmmm.. oki... elevated eye pressure....... then the auntie told me that....... it could lead to the blindness of the eye.........

WHA KAOZ!!! got so serious mah........... they she just gave me the booklet and somehow tried to get me to leave her counter asap...

and so i left with the thought of me maybe having to go blind... without any body from the eye clinic telling me what are the things that i should do from now on... get another check? erm.........play less maple?... haha.. kk

and so... the ever so kiasu me....... had mh accompanied me to see a polyclinic doc..... and referral to jurong medical centre... all that hassle............................................................... and of course time and money spent.....just to get this.

in the end, after thorough checks on both of my eyes by PROFESSIONAL NURSES and consultation by SPECIALIST DOCTOR.... i was told that my eyes are PERFECTLY FINE... no sign of the so called elevated eye pressure... WHEW~~~ wat a relief... but somehow.. i can feel the doc was kinda... erm.... tickled by the fact that i was so gan jiong over such a matter that i had to visit a SPECIALIST DOCTOR to get my eyes checked again.........

so all in all.......... i had to pay a total of $8+$20=$28 for my eye check... well... it was more than 8 for my visit to the polyclinic cause i also bought some medicine there for my flu at that time... but thanks to my dear... the fees at the polyclinc was "subsidised"... HAHA... but i still have to fork out 20 bucks to have my mind put at peace...

DANG the eye pressure checker at the free eye test....

i dunno why i feel so poor lately... maybe its because of the $60+ meal i've treated my parents to... maybe its the presents that i have to contribute to for my frenz in ntu.... maybe its because valentine's coming so i have to save up a bit...maybe its because of the doctor visits that i've been going to.....maybe its because of the relentless shopping few months back.....but i think the main reason is because the first digit in my bank account drop by 1... sad case....

today... i've finally used up all my notes in my wallet... so its time for 状元猫 to go to the mourtuary....

notice i've seperated the coins in 2 stacks....

it has been soooo long that i've posted anything on my blog.. sorri for the MIA ...

13 days since 2007... and my year start with a bad note already...

my grandma passed away on 12/01/2007 and was pronounced dead at 0010 (12:10 am). 1,2,1,0.... can buy eh... ha... kk.... ~__________~

i wasnt extremely shocked or sad. cause she has been 'slowly dying away' since half a month ago.. when her cancer relasped and spread to her liver... terminal stage... she started to get realli yellow... cause her liver isnt functioning anymore... me and mh went down to visit her for quite a few times...

the day before she died... my mum asked mi to go down to her hse and see her cause it feels like she cant make it anymore... and so mh drove us down and that was the last time i ever saw my grandma...alive and dead.. cause the coffin is fully closed...

that morning of 12th, i received a call at 3 am from my mummy... i had juz finished mapling and was about to go to sleep... my whole heart jumped.. cause u know that that call isnt gonna bring good news..
" ah ma's dead" she told me...i was momentarilly numbed... no feelings watsoever... i guess i kinda have this excellent ability to detach myself out of the situation which i feel it will affect me emotionally... hence i do not feel a thing...

it rained for the entire day and night of the 12th... bad weather and funeral... bad combination.. the moment i reached my ah ma's place... i totally feel uncomfortable... i dun like funerals... i dun like ppl crying (though nobody is crying then)... i dun like unhappy gatherings....

i was told my ah ma passed away peacefully... like sleeping... hope she is somewhere in heaven...

oh another thing... i've juz watched Death Note 2!!! is the preview... whoa... i'm not a very good critic of movie la... but hor.. i realli think death note is one of those movies so rare.. cause it provides surprises, twists and turns, unexpected situations, the awe of how intelligent the characters are... although is indeed too much plot to swallow in 2+ hours for death note 2 (and death note too...)... it is still nevertheless a 5 ticks movie (upon 5 la!) i would rec. all to watch!! besides... the characters are sooo cool and full of... ermmm.. character? hehe... i shall not indulge in spoilers in my post... cause i wan u all to go and watch!!!

last sick entry was dated 8/22/2006... in about close to 4 months time, i am again down with cold and flu.. dun ask mi the difference between them... cause i also too lazy to find out.. haha... maybe wiki will show the ans...

because of my illness, i have to postphoned my fyp visits to ECP for 3 days liao.. haiz.. juz when u have things to be done.. u get sick... arh!!!!

then i had to skip yoga too... body too weak to move... haiz.. 2 lessons of yoga never attend liao...

but...

i like to be sick because i can sleep and sleep and sleep and sleep without any complaints from anyone... cause i somehow have the permission to sleep.. haha.... i like the feeling....

i get more concern from my parents.. not tt they are not concerned about me normally.. but when i'm sick... the naggings usually reduce... yeah....

being sick is juz a love-hate affair for me.. how bout u?

i do not like to communicate with my boyfren through internet messenger...cause 70% of the time we end up quarrelling... is not that something serious happens but perhaps its the way we express ourselves through internet ba... u tend to expose the other side of urself. the other side of ur mind. messenges also often get warpped due to the lack of physical contact and also visual contact... u dun necessarily mean something u said but the other party might interpret it in another way. or u might be talking in a jokin manner or in a light-hearted manner but the other party might take it in at a harsher tone...then one party gets irritated and in turn influences the other party by reacting in a negative fashion. the other party will then not understand what the hell is he/she reacting so violently about and reciprocate in the same manner...

my first time happened in icq with my jc (boy)fren... somehow messages got warpped and we ended up quarrelling over icq. recalling back, both of us said realli bad words to each other like "u idiot" or "mad" or something...after one very heated argument, the almost blossomed relationship didnt happened and i transferred sch...

now..the same thing happens too... loads of misunderstanding.. loads of 'lost' communication... visual and physical communication is very important indeed... so sianz... sometimes after an internet argument, i would get so tired...tired of trying to conjure up the bits of arguments that we had and trying to piece them together to find out why did we actually argue in the first place. dunno whther is my memory failing me but sometimes i realli cant find the root of our argument in the first place...

finally...... tuakeor has decided to step out of victoria island to have a look at the outside world....Beyond orbis.... Ludibrium...

personally, tuakeor like ludi a lot... cause

1) it is much much cuter than orbis and victoria island. more cute mob...

2) quite ez to earn meosos...

3) eos tower is not as jialat as the one at orbis though it is 10 times taller than the one at orbis.. haha... i like the part whereby u can juz jump 20-30 storeys....

i know the reasons stated here are why u all dun like ludi... even jor also say ludi very childish... bleah...

Mooncake Fest & Qiqi's Princess B'day Party

the first time ever i've stepped foot in chinese garden for the mooncake fest... eight dollars per adult... though i get it for free... cause kids below 3 is for free... muahaha....

the decor is roughly similar... something tt u would expect.... as we went on the eve, there was quite a bit of a crowd, esp near the entrance area where many stalls were set up...the kids at the bottom right corner of the pic even asked their mum whether they should look in my camera... ha... kids...

even though the lanterns are from an enginner's point of view, fabric and steel structures with light bulbs installed inside them......, i muz say they were quite a fascinating watch...

and wat's an outing when u dun end with self-taken photos??

qiqi's birthday party took place at THE SMALLEST restaurant that i've ever dined in...and it goes by the name we all mistook for portebello, the mushroom. i've not yet get the name right... cause i forgot liao... haha... well, it shalled be called portebello... ha...

many princesses and princes were there. realli should have taken a group photo... cause the gers were decked out in full gear princess wear...

some before party action.....

the restaurant is small no doubt but the service was good... for one thing, my glass of iced tap water was constantly filled up. or isit because the place is small.. haha...then.. mid-way through dinner, the restaurant had a black-out... very interesting... cause now we finally know.. ppl like me, karen and xinxin are able to continue eating in the dark... with a small candle light of course...when the power finally came on, with the restaurant owner sweating like mad, we continued with the party. this time, without air-con.

nxt up was ktv time... with only the presence of mi, qiqi, gan, ang, ting and yusheng.. the couple went off in the middle of the session though... we could all SEE yusheng was VERY SLEEPY... hahahaha......

we all sang till 2-3 am at k box and then we were asked to leave. didnt know now we couldnt stay as long as we like till the next group of ppl comes in... so quite sianz...

took 174M home and finally snuggled in at 5am...

birthday partys are a love and hate affair... haha....

nevertheless........ HAPPI B'DAY QIQI!!!!!!! hope u can find THE BF soon!!!

verdict... go there when u feel like spending aprrox $6 and above on a cup of... not very thick chocolate... some ordered were too sweet... mine was oki... so in other ppl's standard... mine is bitter.. initially good... but then the taste became irritating toward mid-cup...

the alcoholics one cost $12 each. so i didnt order them...

go there for the ambience.... great place for discussion though (perhaps it was a weekday afternoon).. not much customers.. haha... plus they've got robbie williams playin in the background...

went to the fireworks fest on tues with ming hui... whoa..... no wonder the paper says take public transport... we went there early.. entrance was no prob... but the way back... wha.. jam till like siao... haha.. but we had fun anywae!

i'm feeling so damn bloody f**ked up with myself..... i'm standing on this platform and chasing for this train. everytime this train stops i'm always a few cabins away from the door. i'll be running for it but everytime b4 i catch the bloody door, the train will start to move with the door still open. i'm filled with this hope that i can catch the train but then i couldnt. i couldnt outrun the train. and each and everytime, i will be left to always chase the train. though it occassionally makes an attempt to stop, i still am not able to catch up with it...

why isit that the train always gives mi this illusion that i can catch up with it.. that i can board it? and why am i chasing this train in the first place? does it mean i will be more happy on the train? do i even have to catch this train in the first place? isit because everybody has a train to catch and that's why i'm feeling compelled to catch it? now seeing that i am not even convinced myself to catch the train. do i still nd to give the chase? am i asking myself just too many questions, posing to myself that there are too many difficulties? cant i just heck care about everything and just run? why isit that i have more issues to clear than the others? wat exactly are the issues that i claim to have? am i just thinking too much?

i'm so vexed. i'm so angry at myself that i may have even seemed angry at others. even to my family members. i dun mean to shout and ignore u. i just dunno how to control myself.

went to the crystal jade GOLDEN palace to eat with ming hui's family today is a super duper dark and grand restaurant at paragon... sorry no photos cause i didnt bring my ixus along... the ambience is fab i tell u.... and the service is also good....

as i'm a vegetarian... had to have special order.. and the waitress was patient enuf to say which were vegetarian dishes and which were not. ate quite a number of dim sums.... quite nice...one dim sum is around $3-4. should be quite oki ba.... muz plus the ambience and the service....maybe we all can go nxt time.. but muz book.... cause it's packed.. maybe today is sun yeah... haha...

on another note, met soo many familiar faces when ming hui and i were walking around orchard... 2 ppl from STK..2 ppl from ENE... whoa.. how come almost everytime i go out with ming hui will meet familiar faces or stars one... haha....

to ming hui : i'm not trying to avoid leh... juz dun realli like bumping into too many familiar faces on the road.. haha... i'm lazy to say hi....

early in the morning, though it was raining cats and dogs... i woke up at 9.30am. prepared myself to go to sch with MH to study. reached sch and had mac hotcake breakfast.. then studied till 3+ in the afternoon. and i managed to complete revising the first half of my special sem module. woohoo! quite an accomplishment though the topics have been studied b4....

after dinner, i took out the 1000 piece puzzle MH and i bought and proceed to piece them together.... the last time we started, it was onli the border that was completed... and some scattered pieces that had been pieced together... now look..........

k.. now for the SPCA run... our dear xinxin has expressed her interest... anybody else wan to go???

i bet the east of singapore is not a place where a lot of my frenz will frequent... cause we r all weaterners... hahaha....

first stop: changi airport

i shall not talk about terminals 1 and 2 cause they are the same as they had been when we all last saw them... went to have a look at the budget terminal... whoa... is realli the budget one lor... the sign BUDGET TERMINAL were hoisted up upon thin metal rods. the roofs seemed so pok, they looked as if they had juz been set up yesterday. they didnt even bothered to cover up the airducts at the ceiling.... now this is wat i call budget eh...? the departure hall and arrival hall are 2 seperate entities. i gasped at the number of ppl at the departure hall... u wouldnt even use up ten of your fingers.... not until i went to the arrival hall.... u wouldnt even use up half of your ten fingers (which is 5 btw...). the onli airline there is tiger airlines.... everything seemed colour coordinated to the colours of tiger airlines. yellow and orange. one would even think that tiger airlines had set up their own departure and arrival hall... ;-)

second stop: tampines mall

had dinner there. was so shocked when i bumped into daffy and her bf... i wanted to run so much but i couldnt because she was directly facing me when i turned my head. and ya.. the same questions were popped... where have you been.. how are you.... and of course the new line, that your bf ah? sianz...... i dun like this process....

third stop: changi village

went there on the pretext to see transversites in the action.... but guess it was too early.. onli saw 1 lone ger standing at the carpark. we drove slowly pass her 2 times...she is realli very 'big'.... gasp.... later in the evening... we went back to the carpark again.... GASPS... so many of them.... standing by the road in the carpark... guys chatting them up.... we drove pass them 2 or 3 times and i guess with me in the car... it muz have seemed like we were not there for business. one of the 'lady' mouthed vulgarities at MH... ha.... then we passed by a zebra crossing and MH stopped cause it seemed like 2 of the 'ladies' had wanted to cross but didnt. their attire shocked me leh.... i've never ever seen in real life women wearing sooooooooooo little... no bra and her top was unbottoned... aiyoyo....

he asked whether i wanted to 'see show' again... i said no... too much shock no good for peijun... haha....

my prof in charge of my IA has juz gone back... today was my second and final assessment by NTU of my IA... attachment report also handed in liao... whew... wat a relieve... now it's semi official tt my IA has come to an end... gonna go back to sch real soon... i can still remember tt time it was qiqi's turn for IA... now it's mine... hehe....

i am going to the pc show later to buy my monitor... yes.. i've decided (FINALLY) to buy a new desktop... DIY desktop... as i've found out from some ppl tt DELL isnt so good... lucky for mi... my IA mates are great at DIYing desktops... haha...FOC somemore... realli tks them a lot..

think gonna go down to sim lim this week or next... WEEE!!!! i'm gonna have a new desktop!!! so ppl.. watch out for mi as i CONFIRM will go play online games one... hahahahahaha.......

other than being excited about my about-to-come desktop... i've been rather down lately... not sure why... but juz feel very down... and i've found out tt actually manicuring is a very theraphutic 'sport' for mi... haha... now feel much better after yesterday night's manicuring and painting of my nails into a very pretty and demure french manicure.. hehe...i've upped one level in manicuring!!! hehe....though i dunno if i can perform at the same standard when i help u ppl to manicure.....

nxt time... am so looking forward to our big june birthday gathering... quite long never see my gang of frenz liao... miss them... :-)

have i said this b4 but time has been passing rather slowly for me. kinda like the feeling u get when u r in ur primary sch days.... probably because i wasnt under any pressure... like now. IA has been crawling through the days... finished on my project and now i am just waiting for the results of my simulation to end. but i think most prob it will not be ending by the end of my IA... hence i suppose i would have to smoke out some results... bo bian.... haiz...

edit: my supervisor juz talked to me and now i realise i would have a 'sharing session' with them on my entire 6 months of my IA.. gosh... wat will i tell them... tt i've became an 'expert' in pool?? OMG......

been going out very often nowadays too... both pat tor and with frenz... made my mum kinda pissed... as in when i reached home.. even at 12 am.. she'll still not be sleepin.. and then after i bathe... which maybe till 1am... she'll sit down beside mi to ask mi about things.. about work.... but by tt time, i'm extremely tired and didnt feel like talking... so then... she either walked away with loads of unanswered questions or we will end up in a heated discussion...haiz... now tt i'm writing this... kinda felt tt i am the bad guy... HAIZ........... saded

my fyp juz came out too.... haiz.. gotta choose my fyp... big head.... big head......

i wanna go back to sch... i wanna study.... the ending date for IA is on the 16th June.... so near yet so far.... cause still gotta

yes. today is the day that penguin gets attached. one word: WEIRD.......

before anyone of u GASPS, CHOKES and FAINTS..... yes. when i mean attached, i mean attached with a boyfren... two words: EVEN WEIRDER.......

i've never ever in the history of my 21 and 9 months of my life been labelled as "attached with a boyfriend".... it sounded even more unbelievable as i type this....

u may be wondering... who the hell is this guy.. well. i got to know him through my IA... and well. things juz worked out from there.

by right, i should be feeling very happy, excited and well, everything nice... but then, as a true virgo who is such a perfectionist.... i began to question... wat does it mean to be in a relationship... like i've told some of u b4... does it mean giving the other party the certificate to hold your hands... to kiss u... and to do other weird stuffs.... it's like plainly giving urself away, or rather letting someone into your world, into your mind without knowing wat he is carrying... a sword? a gun? or a bouquet of roses??? wat will it be. i dunno. tt's why i am kinda feeling confused now...and very afraid too. sometimes, i juz wish time would turn back and nuth had happened.

i know. i cant juz throw everything aside and walk away...

i also understand i am viewing this thing in a very negative manner. i am not talking about this relationship with this guy. i bet i'll feel like this with any other guy too... prob is because i've never really tasted it (being in a true relationship)... and tt's why i got a lot of questions left unanswered...

i hope he doesnt have my blog address... ha. if not he'll be extremely worried and saded....

went to watch MI3 on sun.... is totally action packed from the first second right down to the last.. minusing some of the lovey dovey scenes tt seemed kinda out of place with the tight plot... anywae.... i've never seen MI1 and MI2 b4... and yet i still understand wadda hell is going on... and is better seen in the cinemas due to the explosion, explosions and more EXPLOSIONS......

some jokes were inserted in the dialouge and well... this is the best man... as quoted from www.kennysia.com: The only thing scarier than Tom Cruise jumping hysterically on the sofa on Oprah, is Tom Cruise speaking Mandarin in Mission Impossible 3.

HAHA!!! tt's sooo true... he kept screaming... zhou3 kai1!!! zhou3 kai1!!!! xiao3 xing1!!! xiao3 xing1!!!!! while he was running through the streets of china.... TRIPLE DIAOZ...... ppl were actually laughing when he was supposedly running (or chasing) something.....

on another note... this sun gonna have BIG mothers' day dinner with my mother's side family... WOOHOO!!! a total of 4 chinese round tables at KAOYI vegetarian restaurant!!! can u believe it!! the mere thought of 4 big round tables all with our own ppl makes mi very hyper... haha... so exciting!!!

also... the excitment never ends... tomolo my colleague is gonna treat me and our lunch khakis to Marche for dinner!!! DOUBLE WOOHOO!!!... he earned 4 digit amount when he sold his company's shares... though i can't realli eat until i siao la... but still very happy for the treat.. hehe!

my IA is ending soon...1 month and 7 days left to be exact... this is certainly a very EVENTFUL IA for me...

[1] i got to design and build my very own half a ton concrete blocks for blasting with TNT...

[2] i got to HOLD the TNT....

[3] i got to know a lot of highly intellectual frenz... esp my lunch khakis... 3 wikipedia (an online encycleopedia)experts... 1 PhD holder... learnt a lot from them... from their very brain simulating topics during lunches.... i guess i will not have the opportunity to know this kinda frenz again.. not in the near future.

[4] the first time in my entire life (up till now)that i am the centre of attraction for rumours and gossips... onli got mi gossip about ppl and not ppl gossip about mi....dunno why become so prominent during IA... muz be i am one of the very few gers here.......i am flattered and also very troubled by it... and through these rumours... some ppl have also mistaken mi... but i am also very happy to have found some good frenz and jun1 shi1... haha

[5] i DRAMATICALLY improved on my pool skills.. (on days tt i am not pak4 jiao4 la...)and i also learnt how to play ping pong!.. hehe.....

[6] i earned many nicknames here too... my lunch khaki and so-called assistant supervisor frank gave mi a name called "Bubble Hong"... and my pool khakis call mi "Farmer" cause i always nd to use the assistant stick to support my cue stick for long shots... and tt stick looked very much like the plough stick tt farmers use.. soo... yeah...

[7] work related.. i've had the opportunity to go to a live firing range and actually conducted my tests there... not very much of an achievement by my standard la.. but my senoir manager told me tt not many ppl have the opportunity to go to a live firing range (for lab testing and not NS)... not even my profs... hehe... WHOA.... SCARED ALREADY RIGHT.... hehe....

[8] another work related stuff.. i've learnt how to use AUTODYN (a no-linear simulation software) from SCRATCH!!!! though i've not mastered it la... but my supervisor said i'm getting very good at it... WOOHOO!!! 3 cheers!

[9] something new came into my life and i am still coming in terms with it.. one day come one day see ba... hehe...
